Our Weekend Walks...

We were downtown this past weekend and I took a few shots of some beautiful homes and yards. Since moving to Charleston it's become a family tradition to take walks downtown, have lunch and do a little shopping.

In Charleston...

I was downtown over the weekend with my family and parents and decided to take a few snaps of a store I mentioned on twitter not long ago. I'm always on the look out for fun places here in Charleston. One thing that I love about this store is their Japanese imports. Pens, pencils, stickers, tape...all stuff I love! Oh, and the owners are super friendly too.

A little GDC love

We have had a lot going on in the Green household which is why my blog has been neglected. I have several projects in the works and my husband returning from a deployment equals a lot of craziness.

On another topic, I’ve been meaning to write about GDC for months now. Years ago, before we moved to Charleston, my husband, daughter and I took a vacation here and happened upon GDC while we were driving around lost in Mt. Pleasant. I was smitten from the beginning. Three years later, it continues to be a source of inspiration. They have three stores in the Charleston area. The one in West Ashley being the largest and houses the most fabric. If you are ever in the area I highly suggest checking it out.

Villa Julia

I have a four year old who would LOVE this. Considering she is always asking for paper to color on, this would be great. I could just say "Go color your house, honey." Brilliant.

Office Lust

Who wouldn't want a sleek office with all matching accessories. In reality, however, my desk is covered in sketchbooks, printers, and boxes of supplies. Not very inspiring, but it gets the job done. Here's to dreaming of a clean, organized and stylish space.

Pattern Play #4

I've been a little obsessed with sketching jewelry lately. Here's another pattern I had fun creating after I was inspired by a necklace I found at Anthropologie.

Pattern Play #2

Had some fun recently sketching out messenger bags and playing around with patterns. I’d love to see more diaper bags like this with modern patterns instead of only girly florals.

We've had a few days of spring weather here in Charleston which has me thinking of gardening and utilizing our screened porch for the first time in months. Here are a few ideas for a well styled garden.
